LT Joint Venture brings together the technical and service delivery expertise of Tyco with the project management and asset management experience of Lendlease.
In May 2014, LT Joint Venture was awarded a contract by Transport for NSW to manage the maintenance of all its roadside technology in the Metro East Zone of Sydney. The contract commenced 1 October 2014.
Roadside technology, known as ITS or intelligent transport systems, includes assets such as electronic message signs, vehicle detection loops, tidal flow systems, traffic lights, traffic counters, travel time information systems, weather information systems and variable speed limit signs.
Intelligent transport systems control traffic flows, allow traffic conditions to be monitored and keep motorists informed.
LT Joint Venture’s contract scope includes reactive maintenance, asset inspections, planned maintenance, minor improvement works and minor capital works.
The Metro East Zone is bordered by the Hawkesbury River to the north of Sydney, Waterfall to the south and the area east of Pennant Hills Road.
