Roads and Maritime Services is delivering this project, which involves installing a permanent electronic message sign for northbound motorists and relocating a directional sign. The sign will allow real time traffic information to be relayed to motorists and enable them to make better and more informed decisions in response to any unplanned incidents that may occur.

Roads and Maritime Services will be installing traffic lights with red left and right turn arrows. Our work aims to improve safety by stopping vehicles turning into Forth Street while the green pedestrian signal is activated.

Roads and Maritime Services is replacing traffic light posts, installing left and right turn red arrows on existing traffic lights, installing in-road sensors and painting road markings on Parramatta Road, at the intersection of Church Street and Layton Street. We were scheduled to complete the work by Friday 30 June but were delayed due to changes in our work schedule.
