Project update – Night work on Punchbowl Road, Lakemba from Friday 29 July

The NSW Government is funding the installation of a permanent electronic message sign as part of its $246 million Pinch Point Program, which aims to reduce traffic delays, manage congestion and improve travel times on Sydney’s major roads, particularly during weekday peak periods. Roads and Maritime Services is continuing to carry out this work, which includes installing a new sign near Hampden Road to provide northbound road users with up-to-date information on traffic conditions and planned and unplanned incidents and events. We have included a map to explain the location of the sign.

The NSW Government is taking action to deliver transport improvements for the Northern Beaches, including an integrated program of service and infrastructure improvements to deliver a new B-Line service. B-Line Service is continuing to carry out this work, which includes installing a new sign near Seabeach Avenue, to provide southbound road users with up-to-date information on traffic conditions and planned and unplanned incidents and events so they can make better, more informed decisions about their journey options.
