Roads and Maritime Services will carry out this work, which includes replacing the sign panel on the existing permanent message sign.
The sign provides southbound motorists on Bexley Road with up-to-date information on traffic conditions and advanced warning about planned and unplanned incidents and events in Bexley, the Canterbury area and the wider Sydney region. We have included a diagram to help explain the project’s location.

This work is part of the NSW Government’s $246 million Pinch Point Program, which aims to reduce delays, manage congestion and maintain travel times on Sydney’s main roads, particularly during peak periods.

Roads and Maritime Services is seeking your feedback by Friday 4 December on a proposal to relocate a traffic light in the centre of the Pacific Highway to a mast arm on the western side of the highway.
This modification to the traffic lights would reduce the incidence of vehicles hitting and damaging the post that is in the centre median of the Pacific Highway and improve northbound motorists’ sight line to the traffic lights.

The NSW Government is funding this project near Arnott Crescent to provide motorists with up to date information on traffic conditions and manage the road network.
This project was due to be completed in June, however we experienced unexpected delays due to finalising the design of overhead power services.
